Reifenhauser has announced its intention to split itself into two entities, one to handle cast film and another for extruders and wood-composite plastics.

Reifenhauser Cast Sheet Coating, the cast film unit, would be headed by Jochen Hennes as the managing director, and involve itself in stack polishing, dies and winders.

Reifenhauser Extrusion Technology, to evolve from the current Extrusion Center unit, would see Tim Pohl as managing director, for developing WPC lines and extruders.

Both the units would be housed at Troisdorf, which is the principal location.
